*thuds head against desk*
Aug. 3rd, 2004 06:55 pm*sigh* Why do I have to be the Sam Vimes of my life, the one who sees the truth about how things work...
Even more people on the HBR circulation list? That is not going to work. It doesn't work now. Two weeks the thing is meant to be doing the rounds for. Two months is a "good" time. And that's in the same building, let alone sending it across town...
Still, mine not to reason why, mine but to be tough-guy just without the ability to fine or zat as incentive...
Did me a little impulse shopping on the way home - picked up a new Ghostbusters (someone send it back to young me pronto!) and a couple of the new Joss Whedon scripted X-Men comics... I wonder who might have suggested I give them a look... ;)

What's Your Outlook on Life?
brought to you by Quizilla
Yes... sometimes my cynical side is surprised at what I hear myself say...

'Tis a great mystery, but somehow you have come to
belong in Jane Eyre; a random world of love,
kindness, madness, bad luck and lunatic
ex-wives. There really isn't much to say about
the place you belong in. It's your place, and
though it seems far from reality largly due to
how random the events are, you seem to enjoy
it. You belong in a world where not too many
people understand you, and where you can be
somewhat of a recluse.
Which Classic Novel do You Belong In?

I still say I belong in The Princess Bride  This quiz kinda sorta photocopied from
faith_of_borg's scrolls...

A PIZZA! Woo-hoo! You've a keen eye for taste and
variety, and you're not afraid to try something
new! Your friends know they can count on your
for good dining suggestions!
Whatcha having for dinner?

What a coinky-dink! ;) *runs to phone* 131-888... yeah, the lot, including the kitchen sink, on cheesy-crust...
Ok, maybe not *the lot* but pizza sure sounds like a plan for tonight! :D
