Temptation

seandcWell, not much happening over the last couple of days. I had a request that kept me banging my head aga... erm... busy looking for something that just refused to sing for me.
Got that brouhaha about the switch sorted out, people talking things out with both sides, with emails recorded for prosperity. Understanding is a three-edged sword - my side, your side, and the truth in between. I hadn't thought about asking what else had happened from the source (I asked the guy in charge of arranging the roster about prior incidents). Strangely I seem to get somewhat defensive when criticised... Didn't get out of duty altogether though... pity, could do with some more days free to go early ;) Somehow I seem so tired lately...
Decided to have a looksee into Empire's new digs today. Long, long narrow flight of stairs to get up there... fairly large (but narrow) floorspace, all light and stuff now they've got windows. And the main reason for going there? Oh yes... so many more DVDs on shelf now :D So very very tempted by Sliders or A-Team boxsets (or, Anna, possibly the only copies of the first five Highlander seasons for sale in the country), but I was good... got to at least see if Sliders will be out on normal-release here first :D
I think Spring might be trying to spring between the rainstorms this week... a whole bunch of plants and grasses flowering now - and the galahs and corellas seem to be coming out to take advantage of this. And I never thought how long the railway reserve must be - I saw a black cat (well, more a kitten) just under the road-bridge outside our central train station.
