Time-warp...

I'm feeling a bit ahead of myself, I feel like it's Thursday night instead of only Wednesday... (well, it's better than earlier, it felt like Friday night ;)) Wishing though... I'm not sure how much of this dodging traffic and people I can take...

I saw a pair of redcapped parrots up close today :) I heard them in the distance as I was walking home (I recognise the call of redcaps), and as I came over the last hill, I saw a green shape fly into a the tree I was about to pass. I looked up and saw the parrot in there, and she (says the book about the colouring of these birds) flew just over my head into a pencil-pine type tree in the nearest backyard. I see some movement just below fence-level, and then appears another redcap, with more vivid colouring. Just stood there for a couple of minutes watching them (usually redcaps are very shy and fly away if anyone gets as close) and the only sound in that behind-the-houses path was the sound of them chowing down on pine-nuts :)
