City of the Clones!
Aug. 6th, 2004 09:04 pm(Where's Becc when you really need her? Stop studying and comment! :D) Waiting for the bus this afternoon, this woman joins the line next to me, and for some reason she looks really familiar, even though we've never met. It took until I saw her in profile before I realised... she looked exactly like a blonde Patricia Tallman! Yes, Perth has a LytaClone! ;)
*goes to scoreboard for Perth, and chalks up "Lyta" next to "Riker" "Faith" "Buffy" and of course "Daniel"*
Talked to former Traineeships records boss about what the deal was over there - she said that was I was doing basically *was* the job over there, attaching papers all day. And the occasional file-getting, but attaching was the main, and I was taking over the main attacher. Turns out no one else over there could do it, most were support staff for another section, those that were left either weren't around all day or contracted for specific tasks (unlike us general dogsbodies...) I managed to land myself the starring role by the mail area not having enough level ones to let anyone go all day, or the other people didn't know how to do (as much as I like her, why do I detect a porky pie being told there?) Of course, we have a couple more level ones up the front (records side, not library) and no idea why they weren't asked...
May have just been the right thing to happen then, came back the next morning, and was able to help solve the Serials module much quicker than I would've thought...
( *walks across screen and is seen through the barrel of a gun... turns and...* )
