Surprising

Well, sometimes life can just sneak up and take that left turn at Albequeque... today I was expecting the staff meeting to meander into the territory of being considerate of other's abilities and not changing their computer stuff without their permission (ie, I was fully expecting switch to call up big boss and complain, after keeping on at me about changed settings I never changed). Meeting comes, and talk of switch is all about (again) our obligation to help out, how all level ones must do switch unless pressing circumstances, yada yada yada. No sign that he'd been told about our little to-do by phones. Found out that the other guy there hadn't had any calls either... so either a- set-up guy only gave my name, or b- switch thought that perhaps a 20-something would be easier to intimidate than a 50-something... I might tell boss or normal-set-up-guy about it next week... C told me to calm down first...

Which was enabled with the help of this little thing called "retail therapy" :lol: I was very tempted to check out Empire's new store (and hopefully expanded range of import dvds :D) but C gave back the DS9 boxset I lent her, and I didn't want to go through shelves, detectors and all with them... so I went to the comic shop instead. I thought ahead for once, and checked their website (yes, from work, naughty naughty!) and turns out the new X-Men Days of Future Past trade paperback edition just arrived today :D
