Well, a busy couple of days. In this pensive time leading up to The Day of the Refurb we've actually been getting requests for stuff. A great many. So, keeping busy while waiting for tomorrow, which is the big pack-up day. We stop work at lunchtime-ish to give us packing time. And Friday, Friday I still don't know if I'm going to the PD day or not. Depends if I can get in on the day. Just hope that we don't have to all call out in front of the group. Or be photographed. Such is the lot of a poor pessimist in an optimist's strange world.
I got my making up for it through retail therapy in in advance though :D. Since the latest shipment hadn't been there on Friday, I took a trip to the comic shop. As well as the single issues I would have picked up anyways, there was a copy of Uncanny X-Men 144 (from early 1981), and both parts of the Batman: Hush trade paperbacks. And at the counter? Two more XM trades I'd ordered had come in - Inferno and Mutant Massacre, both waaay thicker than the ones that come out these days. All in all, a most successful trip, comics-wise. :D I think I'll be busy for a while...
