Lazy Joss, Rise of the Monitor.
Sep. 14th, 2005 12:10 am"Scifi, cowboy, horror, comedy, my usual. I left out musical. I guess I'm getting lazy."
-Joss Whedon, talking about Firefly/Serenity on tonight's Rove Live. When he wasn't imitating Comic Book Guy as a tv-snob.
Today I was feeling mostly ok, until mid-afternoon when I just suddenly wanted to be home, suddenly tired and all (after earlier moving some shelves just because I needed to stand for a while). I had wanted to build up some time against tomorrow, but decided to leave when I got the chance and rather than wait for another CAT decided to drop in to Officeworks and pick up a monitor riser. I'm still getting used to it - it may be slightly too high, but I've yet to see them anywhere else. For some reason walking through the area of town around where Lord and Wellington Streets meet seems much longer than other ways. May just have been the lingering "I wanna go home!" mood, even though there were only random people about.
