Hmm. There's a story on the news about how someone at the centre of a case concerning bullying at one of Sydney's more exclusive schools - aha, SMH says Trinity Grammar - four years ago is now suing the school (the bullies were expelled four years ago).

"The Trinity case made headlines and sparked a huge community debate about the problem of bullying in schools. The victim is 20 and can't be named for legal reasons. He is suing his former school for damages and lack of duty of care.

The victim's father said yesterday that his son had long-term effects from the bullying and wanted to see the school admit its failure to protect him."

Hmmm... *rubs hands together, looks up contact details for own former high schools* ;)

And the news about Labor approaching various sporting personalities *suppresses snidyness lest he be deported* to run at the next election is giving me mental images too horrible to contemplate. PM Eddie... *shudder*
