Well, survived my first shift on the switchboard... luckily had the lists of useful numbers and the excuse of "they're closed!", so it wasn't as bad as I thought. Still don't like the phone though...

Felt an urge to get some humourous books today, so dropped in at the railway station A&R, found a copy of Terry Pratchett's book about cats (hadn't actually seen one before...)
