School's out for Spring

I'm wearing the print off my shift keys already.
So, I did what anyone would do - retail therapy! Nah, not really, just my usual weekly comic shop. What I wasn't counting on was the size of the haul - in number and in actual size. Four of the trade paperbacks I'd ordered came in - two Nightwings, The Kingdom, and JLA Year One (the only one I was kinda expecting to be in). JLAYO seems thick enough in its own right, yet it pales next to the other one I picked up - Essential X-Men Vol. 6, being three times the thickness of the average trade (but in black-and-white) - I hadn't paid any attention to the preview ads, but when I saw that it had some of the early Rachel-Phoenix issues, well, what other chance am I going to get to read them?
Well, onwards to days of doing nothing!
