Well, as I predicted, I did it. I went to the ABC shop and looked for the first season of Press Gang (since it's a long weekend and I'll be almost finished with the second season by Saturday night). Of course, I didn't find it there, and found it in JB instead - I must've not been paying attention last time - or taken in by the so-very-similar packaging - yeah, that's right. ;) Honestly, I think they had it on a not-displaying-cover last time, only to go to display-the-cover when I went in yesterday - they must have to change these things very often to give anything a chance of being seen - they're trying to fit more and more and more into the same space (still think they should've taken over a big space like the old Sanity or Angus and Robertson store sites - might just be biased to thinking DVDs a better store-use than clothes though).

I've also finally gotten a copy of Planet Simpson (as in, they had a not-wrecked copy available in Dymocks). So many tv-flashbacks in one rather big book (and I'm still only in the first or "history" chapter, let alone what'll happen when I get to the chapters on the characters). As if my thinking wasn't already Simpsons-referencing enough! ;) But at least a lot of the examples mentioned I can actually remember.

Ok, how does talk about 90s comic crossovers (the kind that turned us *all* into Comic Book Guy) turn into a Borg invasion?
