Still in my week off, but felt I should bestir myself from the house today (plus, I needed to go shopping). So, I decided to give in to the excitement around abouts and go and see Harry Potter IV (opening day here).
Just barely got into the first session of the day - caught behind a couple of talkative people in the ticketing office - normally there aren't any movies playing quite yet, but the biggies have early start times. The cinema was already showing the ads by the time I got in - I'd thought the first session would have one of the biggest screens, but not to be. The theatre was about 2/3 to 3/4 full - not worth trying to get up high, but surprisingly one of the entry-level (midway in the seats) seats wasn't that bad for my neck.
( Random thoughts, and possible spoilers )
So, that was that. Left, shopped, found out cashier was going to the movie after work (handy part of working directly below the cinema), and returned to home sweet home, lunch, the normal tales of the world and Press Gang on DVD. I'm about to finish the latest disc. At least the next one's coming out next month.
