Back in business!
Oct. 29th, 2004 11:30 pmHooray, it's back! Once more I can post, post to my heart's content, spam even and... *FL intervenes and ducttapes fingers together so I can't type* ;) As soon as I found I couldn't get in (couldn't even read anything here...) all I wanted to do was play! :D Anyone who recognises the phrase "The Wave" from the days of Ryan's SGC will know what I mean...
A Kitty and Kurt day at the comic store today... picked up the three issues of "Kitty Pryde Agent of SHIELD" and issue one of the "Nightcrawler" series - I don't usually buy the single-character titles, but was in the mood today. Also picked up the "Holy War" trade paperback, as well as the new issues of X-Men and Excalibur. I'm sure it must almost be time for those other comics I ordered to come out, the trades from the Gold Key Star Trek series, and the Bill and Ted series...
I caught one of the new hydrogen cell buses yesterday, they're being used as CATs in the central city... nice and quiet, but the seating leaves a something to be desired. Think Dax and Kira's fighter in Homecoming/Circle/Siege... would it kill them to buy some new articulated buses (and I know they're still being made at least in some countries, but that's a different rant), and design them with l-e-g-r-o-o-m, with all the seats facing forward. A lot of them were facing eachother, and to me that just seems like personal-space-impinging, more so than usual...
Ready for Halloween! I think I've got enough lollies for the people we'll get trick-or-treating this year; even though it's not very common here yet, and indeed almost unheard of the one time I did it back in the 80s, there are more trick-or-treaters lately...
