Tuesdayitis

seandcPhew, what a day... went to work bright eyed and bushy tailed, willing and eager to hide from the 41.5C temperature, and intending just to get some of the procedure manuals done after getting some journal stuff out of the way.
Stupid me.
A couple of weeks ago, we got a whole bunch of clean-out boxes of "stuff we may be interested in" from another section. We've done the books, now today was sorting through all the videos. Many of them, mostly master-copies, of types the like we could never play (although we could get them switched to dvd). But sorting through them takes *time*. A lot thereof, while getting lots and lots of information requests. All while I want to finish up this other thing, and hopefully clear up some space on my desk. Not happening. Especially with people trying to give me more stuff. Not impressed, me. Especially since requests made me miss two CAT busses in the heat...
As a result, the chocolate is in the fridge, re-setting.
Still got two of the comics I got yesterday (last week's shipment, delayed) still to read... just wish I had some time this weekend... for those who don't know, it's my dad's 60th, so going up to hometown for the dinner, and since I'm travelling with aunts (I can't drive) I'm up there for the night. Methinks a trade paperback or two will be going with me :) Just hope they get some more Exiles in on Friday...
Good thing I'll only have one week left of work... I'm going to need some me-only unwinding days after that.
