Last week, I noticed that someone had sold a bunch of early-80s X-Men comics to the comic store. faith_of_borg had a few months ago, of Kitty Pryde wallpapers. Upon receiving sage advice to get this one if I can, this afternoon I wandered down to the comic store for a pre-Christmas bit of buying (ie, got bored, didn't want to wait until after). And even though I saw it Friday, I go in today... gone already!
I guess I shouldn't be surprised, a similar thing happened last week, with a copy of the variant-Colossus-cover Astonishing X-Men #4 I wanted to check the price on - see it displayed one visit; next visit, gone! So, I picked up the last of the issues from that time left, and as luck would have it the Dream's End trade paperback had just arrived too (last week's shipment was late) - was lucky I'd ordered it beforehand, as all the display stock was already sold out.
I'm set for comics over the weekend. :D And Wednesday, enter the bumper crop!
