Whew, relief! As in "what a..." Rather nice day to spend lazing about at home (of course, this was helped by not waking up until 11.30 - just in time for Family Guy). Unlike yesterday - that was just... blecch. Not hot, but it didn't need to be for it was unbelievably humid. Especially when out and about, wandering around waiting for the next bus since I missed one by seconds (and yes, the one I missed was a long empty one, the one I caught was normal and crowded).

Now at least I get to clomp my way through the crowds (and there were lots of them in the city - insanely many) - managed to get the one pair of shoes big enough at Kingsize - this time 18s (yes, that's right, size 18) but otherwise identical to my old shoes (well, apart from being new and still having soles...)

Dropped in at the comic store to pick up everything that had been waiting for me - ahhh, muchly worth the wait, now to wait for more :D Then the trip into the DVD store in the main shopping precincts.

Crow-ded! And this is without there being any actual special sale in this store (most of the sale items were stuff stocked in the suburban stores). I just grabbed the RotK EE and TOS s3 boxes and split (couldn't find the B5 5th season set...) and hightailed it back to the busport (nice timing actually).

Anyway, that was the tale of the humid day; today was nice; I don't remember what the forecast for tomorrow was like, but it should be ok for a quick trip of food-shopping to see me through the long weekend (and pick up some lotto tickets for the big one ;)).

And in the spirit of tomorrow night...
