Excellent comical find

seandcOk, so last week's comics didn't arrive on the normal Friday delivery (only two day delay between the US release and here, not bad, especially when almost everything is shipped via Sydney). Turns out to have been all right in the end. faith_of_borg and decided to check something on uncannyxmen.net. Me being me, I was easily distracted by the site's news item on the solicitations for next month's Previews catalogue and just had to get an early look to see what to order. What do I see? There's going to be a Giant Sized X-Men #3 coming out - of the good. Of the better is that I remember there's a copy of Giant Sized X-Men #2 (some 30-ish years old) available at the comic store. So, not only do I need to pick up my already-ordered comics (kept aside for me), but now get in to buy the #2 before anyone else gets in before me (I have a... slight history of this). One swift chango of the late roster (since I'd rather not spend lunchtime walking there and walking back), and ta-da! Manage to pick up the GXM2 before anyone else does! :) Lucky I got in before Previews is released this week - I'm thinking some people might have the same idea as I did, had they also looked up onto the Display of Rarer Issues.
Well, the office is now officially chaos! Walls taken down, the beginnings of other walls going up, newly empty spaces, old accessways now blocked... chaos! As interesting as it is to see stuff half-way, I'll be glad to have it all done with. I feel kinda exposed now people are able to see my screen from all the way down the back (given where the new accessway will be); plus being able to access certain shelves will be a bonus... (well, access normally - some I can reach through from the other side).
