Apr. 24th, 2005 01:05 amPicture if you will, a diner. Just an ordinary small town diner along a highway somewhere. Now, picture an out of the way table, yet still with a good line to the door. There are four people at this table:
Illyria, blathering; Kitty, sobbing; Random Wolfram & Hart guy; and Spock, pantsless.
How did this happen?
Illyria: "The next year, I was still locked in a sarcophagus and dreamed of revenge against those who put me in there.
The year after that, I was still locked in a sarcophagus...."
Later: "Years later, I was trapped in a dream and thought of revenge. The next day I wanted to scratch my nose. I realized I had no nose, and needed a body. I soon put a plan into motion...even though it took eons before someone also thought of it. And rescued me....and got me a new body."
Meanwhile...
Kitty (a vampire): *cobwebs cover her. She is weak from hunger.
Illyria: *rambles on unaware of everything.*
Kitty: *runs away screaming into the sunlight*
Illyria: I thought we were really bonding...
*Kitty is thrown back into the diner by someone who thinks they are saving her.*
Kitty: But she won't stop talking! Make her stop!
Illyria: And then, my servant picked a body, and he had to plan out what to do....*rambles on*
Kitty: *stakes herself.*
*Wolfram and Hart truck rolls up, Kitty is resurrected by Wolfram and Hart.*
W&H guy: Have you met Illyria? We are tracking her.
Kitty: Gah! Just let me die!
Spock (also in the employ of W&H): She exhibits the feelings of madness usually caused by an Old One telling her entire history. She must have come through this way.
This is what happens when
faith_of_borg and I get rolling with talk of roleplay scenes.
Two explanations: Spock's here because
Anna1: Random person 2 could have been Spock based on the way I wrote it...
His choice of clothing is examined in Twisted Toyfair Theatre (warning, you'll never look at Spock or the Fantastic Four the same way again!)
Kitty's another person's character in the scene. My imagination saw fit to turn her into Kitty Pryde with a later-Excalibur or Astonishing X-Men costume.
Happy with that, Ray?
And one of those little coincidences of script:
Kid: Are you afraid of snakes MacGyver?
Mac: No... I just don't like being around them.
