I should not have my blinds closed when I need to get up to do stuff in the morning... sleep in! Eventually emerged into a (kinda) bright shiny day (no rain today!) and made way up to Morley. Wasted journey, since I didn't buy anything up there, so went back to the city (I'm in the southern suburbs, Morley is north ~~anything further is Japan ;)~~oh hi Natasha ;)). I did see proof that we still have mounted cops on the way back, though - funnily enough, the little area of paving for parking the horse float was at the end of the road my aunts live on.

The DVD store finally had something for me - a movie from ye olde days of Des Mangan hosting SBS' Saturday night line-ups I've been waiting for - luckily there's a new Troma Collection imprint out. Plus from the sale I picked up some of the Batman cartoons. And another Rocky soundtrack in case I don't have it. Mix in some old Excalibur, New Mutants and Generation X from the secondhand store, a very late lunch, and finally out of the city at 3.

So, now I'm well and truly stocked-up for the days ahead, so I don't have to go anywhere or do anything until a certain movie comes out. :D Although it might help if I came to my LJ with an actual point in mind.... oops!

And, I'd forgotten how much fun [Pete Smith voice]Saaaaaaale of the century... sorry, I mean, Temptation is to watch - yelling out the answers, seeing if I can beat the people, ~~coming up with silly answers~~. :D
