D'oh!

Just one of the days of little mistakes... mixing up address details when signing up for international shipping... mixing up greetings in other languages... throughout the day a general toll of slight clutziness and typos...

Although we did manage to get the place decorated for the season - making the most of what little we could get our hands on (there seem to be fewer and fewer decorations every year... this year the whole middle of the section is unadorned). Cue many people wearing various bits and pieces while decorating - ok, I admit, I grabbed a golden-bubble-string thing - instant Mr T! :D

Ran into an old friend of the family today - she has taking part in a display of floristry and jewellerymaking from a TAFE class in the atrium display/gathering area of Central Office - this is also known as "right outside the library's door". So, played catch-up, veiwed the wedding piccies. Also trying to make plans for dad's party, along the lines of what-to-get. I have my ride up there now with my aunts, so now I gotta try the present buying thing...

Oh fer cryin out loud... Just seen a newsbreak on the telly... the Premier, while the little things like health and education are going to rack-and-roonie, is spending half a mil just on getting a boxer's prizefight here in Perth. *headwall* I think we have some more pressing concerns, Mr No Chance of Cost Blowout On New Stupid Railway. Honestly, I wish we had more votes, so I could say he's lost more than one vote (and I've been a Labor voter all my life). Idiots on one side, hatemongers on the other... stupid two-party system...

And those sites call Geminis bitter and snippy ;)
