I was copying some articles for someone this morning, and I found something that should be sent to all teachers, principals et al...

"There are recommendations regarding what to do when being the target. The advice to ignore the words and actions of the bully does not work. Ignoring acts of bullying as a means of preventing such behaviour is a myth that adults must not perpetuate." (emphases mine)

[from "Strategies to reduce the bullying of young children with Asperger Syndrome" by Tony Atwood, Australian Journal of Early Childhood 29:3 2004]

Anyone got a time machine, to show various principals what should have been right under their noses...

Or just to get me away from the summer would be nice... 37C today
