Homer sleep now
Apr. 2nd, 2005 12:16 amWell, the last couple of days have been better than Wednesday was. Tiiiiired though. Hooray for the weekend and the sleeping until 9am 11am 3pm evening. ;)
And what's with all the weather? Last week, baked. Today, the coldest April day here in over twenty years. Refreshing. :D Made it more pleasant to zip about from place to place (or rather, get there - yes, even I was cold - ignoring the weather while dressing will do that to a body).
The comic store is making the most of my wallet this week - in addition to the regular things like new issues of Astonishing X-Men and Phoenix Endsong, today saw the arrival of the new Exiles trade paperback, and the big honkin' twice-as-big-as-normal Age of Apocalypse trade; and a re-order (as in, my first chance to see) of the first Gotham Central trade (gotta try keep up with you *somehow*, Ray!). Much reading for the weekend. After watching some Beavis and Butt-head. I am the personification of good taste.
Anyone looking for a new game to buy? I just saw an ad for this auction - yes, for pinball machines and big old video games. Although, sweet as such an auction must be considering the lots, I can't say I'm sorry there's minibikes that *won't* be hitting the street...
Take the quiz: "What Kind Of Weapon Are you?"

Sword
You're the sword! Most definitely the most honorable and honest of weapons. You've been used for thousands of years to inflict pain and death on mankind. People see you as the most noble of weapons. Traditionally, you're the big brother of the gun. If a gun isn't available, a fighter will grab for you and try to take out their enemy. You're retired now, nobody really uses you in war, mankind has other... More disgusting methods now. You're good for a stab in the heart, the neck or the gut and everyone appreciates a death by a sword. The only people that use you anymore are either very stupid or very crazy. Murderer.
Or time travellers. :D Or people in historically set films...
What is it with me this week? First Iceman, now Frost...

You Are A Hornbeam Tree |
![]() You are a reserved person, looking in from the outside. Naturally attractive, you take good care of your looks. You are not egoistic, and you make life as comfortable as possible. You look for kindness in others - though you are seldom happy with yourself. A bit mistrusting and unsure, you dream of being swept away by someone unusual. |
Robert Frost! You scored 50 Demeanour, 50 Debauchery, 62 Traditionalism, and 55 Expression! |
You are extremely serious. You think too much. You really need to loosen up. Or do you? When people need something done right, they come to you. You're probably very good at giving advice, too. Your friends rely on your sharp mind and refined tastes. That's why they like you. Or at least that's why they keep you around. Your masterpiece is "The Road Not Taken". |
