This was the sound I made when I went to check my leave dates for next month. We have a calendar we mark these in advance on (to help with planning, and for those of us with no memory :angel:), and I just happened to glance across at the week-columns shaded for school holidays. September 26 (Queen's Birthday Holiday) to October 9.

Serenity's opening day here is September 29th (movies come out on Thursdays here).

And I have even less self-control than you do, vesta_sgc... yes, I've broken down and gone online-ordering again. This time the Finding Serenity essaybook and the cd I mentioned a couple of weeks ago. Plus I've got another purchase looking more and more likely every day...

Just before long weekend also. Doesn't really bother me, as I still see it. Hopefully I'll find a time when there are many kids there.

Oh aye, definately going to see it on release day still (don't have much choice of days really) - just a case of poor timing. At least the Royal Show should keep my cinema quiet that week.
