Quizzes and an observation
Sep. 5th, 2005 06:50 pmSo, here I am on the week off. I should've gone to get a haircut today, but couldn't be bothered waking up early enough to make a trip into town worth it. Maybe Wednesday. It was very windy all day today - even Charlie Brown could've got a kite flying. It was great on the way to the shops, but a tad annoying trying to see through the fringe.
Would you believe there's actually a journal called "Australian Anthill"? I was quite bemused when I saw it on the Acquisitions module last week - a journal all about termite mounds? Bimonthly at that! Looking up the ol' internet shows it to actually be a business/business innovation magazine.
And because it's been a while,
(from when I can actually get the sites to work...)

What's your insane war cry?
brought to you by Quizilla
Yes. Everyone would think I'd gone mad if I was shouting that! Or replaced...
Well, who'd've thunk it? *sneaks in to take the country back, after Ann tried to take England in the 70s...heh*
How about that, they got me! Je suis fils unique and all that. And the Ministry, eh? Do I get my own staff of civil servants, or do I have to do doubletime?
Tada, utter dorkitude! Hands up anyone who was surprised...
...
...
didn't think so.
And screw conformity.
All right! Alone in deep space for three million years, and he's still got it! Although it would've ended tragically if not for my collection of singing potatoes...

| You Are Likely an Only Child |
![]() At your darkest moments, you feel frustrated. At work and school, you do best when you're organizing. When you love someone, you tend to worry about them. In friendship, you are emotional and sympathetic. Your ideal careers are: radio announcer, finance, teaching, ministry, and management. You will leave your mark on the world with organizational leadership, maybe as the author of self-help books. |

Pure Dork 34 % Nerd, 39% Geek, 65% Dork |
| For The Record: A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia. A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one. A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions. You scored better than half in Dork, earning you the title of: Pure Dork. Like our friends Napoleon Dynamite & co. It's not as though you were some whiz-kid in school. Oh, sure, you probably did okay in some classes, but were probably awful in others. Certainly most people thought you were smarter than you thought yourself to be. And it's not that you have some overriding passion, like computers or Star Trek that sets you apart for the crowd, though you likely share some interest in some of those sorts of things. You just like to be yourself, and want to express yourself for who you are. And, really, there's nothing wrong with that. Being who you are often invites scorn, and so it's a difficult thing in a world that rewards conformity. Be proud of your dorkiness, for often it's just another word for individuality. (I'd vote for you!) Congratulations! Holly Bravo! You scored 88%! |
You are the ship's computer. You have an IQ of 6,000. The same IQ as 6,000 P.E. teachers. You may've gone a bit computer senile, but you can win a battle of wits with a toaster. You know almost as much about the Red Dwarf and it's crew as I do! You are smegging terrific! "Arnold. We're going to hit lightspeed in 24 hours. I have to navigate a ship the size of a city through speeds never before encountered in the human sphere of experience. I'm not a combination of the speaking clock, Moss Bros, and Tweezy Wheezy." |
